UTILIZATION OF DOMINANT AND OPORTUNISTIC TAXA OF MACROBENTHIC ASSEMBLAGES INHABITING SEDIMENTS UNDER FISH FARMS FOR THE ENVIRONMENTAL STATUS ASSSESSMENT

This study aimed to analyse the environmental quality based on opportunistic taxa and dominant of macrobenthic assemblages, comparing sediment under IMTA-aquaculture reference site, Karimunjawa National Park. Sediments were sampled between May October 2019, in two sampling times at IMTA cages which star pomfret (Trachinotus blochii) tiger grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus) farmed with 3 stations. The area was located 1 km away from fish farm zone. Transformed data abundance correlated abiotic variables using BIO-ENV Primer V.6.1.5 software. sites Diala semistriata, Rissoina ambigua, Stilifer ovoideus, Acteocina fusiformis, Cerithium punctatum, Allorchestes compressa Capitella capitata, whilst those dominated by Barbatia lima, candei, Owenia Anaspides spinulae. Further analyses selected assemblages (M = 10.18, SE 2.056) 3.18, 0.732) still showed a significant difference (t(42) 3.207, p 0.003), indicating consistency results parametric statistical tests, both complete set. use is effective determining status level disturbance, speed up identification process monitoring time.
